Accessibility

Our commitment to an accessible web

Crash Lab is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We design and develop with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our standard.

Our standard

We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more usable for everyone. They address a wide range of needs including vision, hearing, mobility, and cognitive disabilities.

What we've done

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper headings, landmarks, and lists.
  • All images have descriptive alternative text or are marked as decorative.
  • Forms use associated labels, clear error messaging, and browser autofill support.
  • All interactive elements are reachable and operable with a keyboard.
  • A visible focus indicator shows keyboard users their current position.
  • A “Skip to main content” link lets keyboard and screen-reader users bypass repeated navigation.
  • Color contrast meets or exceeds WCAG AA ratios for normal and large text.
  • Animations and auto-advancing content respect the operating system's reduced-motion preference.
  • Custom widgets (like the before-and-after slider) expose proper ARIA roles, names, and values to assistive technology.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review the site as we add new content and features, and we test with keyboard navigation and screen readers. If you find something that isn't working for you, we want to hear about it so we can fix it.

Report an issue

If you encounter a barrier or have feedback on the accessibility of this site, please contact us. We will do our best to respond within three business days.

In-person accessibility

Our Lake Forest facility offers accessible parking and a ground-level entrance. If you need additional accommodations for an appointment, please let us know when you call and we'll make sure your visit is comfortable.

Spam protection & privacy

To protect our contact forms from automated spam, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. Turnstile analyzes browser signals to distinguish humans from bots without requiring you to solve puzzles, select images, or check a box. It does not track you across the web or build an advertising profile. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
